MELSON School of Motoring (MSM) will give you a structured course of lessons recommended by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). You will have expert up-to-date help with the Theory Test with free use of video’s, CD-ROMs, and books, subject to availability. We even have lap top computers for in car training. If you want we can also prepare sets of question papers, for you to complete in your own time. This will help to ensure that you will be properly prepared for both the theory, and the practical tests, and that you take them at the earliest opportunity, saving yourself both time and money.

You will be met where most convenient for you and taken out in a dual controlled car for your lesson. You can see how effective my formula is, and I can assess your driving abilities. Thereafter we can discuss the best way for you, at a speed suited to your ability and needs.

Professional tuition, however, is more than just being taught how to pass the driving test. What you are taught to do, and how you do it, will play a vital part in determining just how good and safe-a driver you will become. It is for this reason we encourage positive driving habits as in the Pass Plus course, which is now recognized by more and more Insurance companies. 

 

Rally Experience

Let us show you how to control a powerful Rally car on a loose gravel surface and get maximum potential helping to save valuable seconds.

We'll start with a welcome briefing and introduction, then we'll settle you into a car and start with some Handbrake turns and Powerslides, learning to control and escape understeer, utilize oversteer, the adrenaline will already be pumping!

Then it's onto the Special Stage, where you will drive several laps. We'll fine tune your technique and coach you to improve your speed and car control. Then the Final competition is a timed run on the Special Stage, under proper rally conditions, 5-4-3-2-1-GO!

Finally, we get an opportunity to get our own back, as we strap you into the passenger seat of a 300bhp, 4 wheel drive Rally Car and give you a high speed thrill ride.
